Day 1 – Hyderabad

We flew from Delhi to Hyderabad on Sunday night, July 19.  The flight was delayed, so we sat in the airplane for what seemed like hours!  But, it was a good flight.  Mom had a chance to share about Jesus with the lady sitting next to her and the lady took Mom’s contact information to stay in touch.  One of the flight attendants began talking to me and we also exchanged contact information.  She is from Delhi, and also from a Jain background.  So, it will be interesting to see where this friendship goes.

We basically rested on Monday at my eldest sister’s home.  The highlight, of course, was seeing my niece and nephew.  They have grown so much in just a matter of months!  They were praying we wouldn’t go to Singapore, but instead stay with them for an entire week.  But, that is not possible.

In the afternoon one of my sister’s friends came over and we had a good time of fellowship and prayer.  The cool thing was that she said that before she even knew we were come to Hyderabad, she had a vision of Mom, me, my sis and her praying together.  And now God was making that vision a reality.

I was feeling really ill.  Actually, experiencing a lot of pain.  We even considered cancelling our trip to Singapore, but we didn’t.  God has something in store for us…we don’t want to miss it!

My brother-in-law drove us to the airport in the pouring rain.  But, God gave us favor.  They gave us one extra seat for our trip to Singapore.  Also, the manager on duty for Silk Air somehow remembered me from several years ago.  She said she had seen me at the old Hyderabad airport (at least 4-5 years earlier).  So, she took extra good care of us at the airport!  God is so good.
